Pagadian City Police Station all set for UNDAS


To ensure the safety and security of all the people who will come and visit graves of their departed loved ones, on October 29, 2014 at about 9:00 O’clock A.M., a coordinating conference on the security preparation for the commemoration of All Souls and All Saints was presided by PInsp Belloan, Chief of Operation. The said conference was attended by Hon. Ernesto A. Mondarte, Ex-Officio Board Member and Chairman Peace and Order Council, Mr. Elmer Pranza, Chief, City Traffic Division; PO3 REUBEN BALIDO, RPSB9 EODT and all Barangay Chairman, together with their Chief Tanods and Barangay Emergency Response Team (BERT) team leaders. Discussed during the said conference were the present peace and order situation of the city, security plan for the All Souls and All Saints day, traffic re-routing scheme, security deployment plan, and Do’s and Don’ts during the above-mentioned occasion.



Also in connection with the preparation of this activity, Police Community Relation Officer PInsp Barroquillo joined personnel of City LGU in their clean up drive along at Pagadian City Memorial Garden on October 29, 2014 at 06:00 in the morning. The purpose of the said clean up drive was to clean the road going to the cemetery.

On October 29, 2014 PInsp Psyche Vi Barroquillo conducted awareness program and information dissemination through Radio and TV appearance. Calling the attention of the public, to cooperate with the PNP to ensure the maintenance of public safety and order during the observance of All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day. Print materials containing public safety tips were also distributed by PCR personnel in public places such as Gaisano Mall, C3 Mall, public market, public terminals, schools, and churches. Copies of traffic route and Do’s and Don’ts during the above-mentioned occasion were distributed to all local TV/radio stations for dissemination.




Additional PNP personnel coming from Police Provincial Office and RPSB9 will be augmented to this station to strengthen and tighten the security measures for the said occasion and increase police presence to deny lawless elements plans to conduct their nefarious activities. Police Assistance Desk will also be established in coordination with other City government agencies. Furthermore, police visibility and security patrol in the different areas of convergence like churches, cemeteries and transport terminal will be maintained as these places are expected to bring influx of people.
