From limited access to broader
access of information, one of the process improvements or shifts of Pagadian City
Police is to enhance community awareness. To inform the community of the
activities, programs and accomplishments, the Chief PCR, PINSP PSYCHE VI BARROQUILLO
gave the updates of the current plans and programs as well as the
Anti-Criminality Campaign of Pagadian City Police Station during her TV Interview.
Likewise, the Chief PCR cited the
different crime prevention activities of PCPS that ensure security, community protection
and public safety. These activities
include church-based protection and family crime prevention programs, house visitations, and productions, dissemination and distribution of information, education and communication materials.
“The need to inform and educate the public is
vital as it affects the community’s perception on the intent and objectives of
any government program. Thus, we are disseminating to the people these activities
for them to support us, because their active participation and cooperation to
us will lead to the success of our good intentions, and one of that is to make
the City of Pagadian a safer place to live, work and do business. We are encouraging
the people of Pagadian City to cooperate and actively participate in all PNP
activities and help us in keeping the peace in order, let us remember always that
peace and order is everybody’s concern”, PISNP BARROQUILLO said during theTV interview.
