Sr. Insp. Felixberto Rule, local police community
relations officer, on Tuesday told the Philippines News Agency the project was
jointly conducted by the provincial police office and Eagles Club with the
support of the Davao City-based Maharlika Charity Foundation, Inc.
The Aug. 5 - 8 outreach mission included free surgery and
dental check-up of beneficiaries conducted at Borbon Hospital here.
Rule said the children were from various towns of this
province reached by his office through the municipal police stations.
He said the activity was aimed to raise awareness that
children with cleft lip and cleft palate deficiencies still have a bright
future.
He said that a total of 65 children were listed, but only
